Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama
Can a city employee, such as a fireman, be charged with trespassing if he is trespassing on the property of former family member? Is it considered trespassing when he is on duty, in uniform, on company time, in a firetruck searching for something personal that has nothing to do with his job?

If he is on the property as part of his job, he is not tresspassing. If he is on the property for some personal reason I believe he could be charged. However, the criminal courts are not going to want to fool with something that sounds like a domestic or family dispute. If he comes on the property again, call the police.
