Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama

We are in a contract for a rent to own on a house that we own. The buyer is wanting to rent it out to someone else. What liability is on me?

I did that once on a property I owned and it was a big mistake. Too many headaches and in the end it cost me a lot of time and money.
