Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama
Heir property
My grandparents did not leave a will. They had 12 children, only four are still living. How can this property be legally transferred to one of the siblings?

Re: Heir property
An attorney who is experienced in probate can assist you. I would not suggest that you attempt to proceed without an attorney due to the number of children, regardless of the fact that only four siblings remain. Feel free to call my office if the petition needs to be filed in the greater Atlanta area.

Since there was no Will, the estate(s) will probably need to be administered in probate court. Consult with a local attorney.
