I live in the state of alabama and am the power of attorney for my dad. He wants to deed me a .5 acre lot adjoining his homestead. Is this legal for me to do

Your question is not clear to me. Do you want to deed the property to yourself with the power of attorney? You might be able to do this, depending on the language in the power of attorney. Is your father competent? Please supply a little more information
