Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama
Who makes decisions about jointly owned property?
My siblings and I jointly own several parcels ofland, some equally and some not equally. Can one person make decisions about the land? Can each owner do as he feels he wants to do? If one wants to hunt on the land and the others don't want the land hunted because of their philosophy, can the one still hunt since he owns the land too? This is a real problem in my family. We really appreciate feedback. One of the siblings is trying to run everything, yet we all pay taxes on the property.

It is impossible to answer your questions in this type of format. You need to consult with a local attorney who can review all the deeds.
