Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Alabama
Federal Sexual Harrassment Laws
I work for a federal agency and have experienced an extreme case of sexual harrassment. When I reported the problem, I was moved immediately to a different office, at my own expense, and was then subjected to several interrogations. My allegations were never investigated and I had to sell my home at a loss and pay my own moving expenses to relocate. I was never given any type of report as to the status of the claim and the manager that commited the offense against me and has become very vindictive. His attitude seems to be condoned by upper management.
I have had a hard time finding an attorney that is familiar with Federal sexual harrassment laws. I did not realize there was a difference of law for the private sector and the civil federal employee. Could you please tell me the differences and offer any advice on how I should proceed?

Re: Federal Sexual Harrassment Laws
Sexual harassment is illegal. Procedures vary depending on the agency involved. The method is different, but the law is the same. You need to meet with an attorney who handles this type of matter in person. If you wish, you can call me at 1-800-297-1703.
