Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Alabama
sexual harrasment
can a large company be held liable/sued if one of its employees makes many inappropriate remarks to a customer/client, or is the company only obligated to fire that employee with no further obligation?

Re: sexual harrasment
With respect to treatment of customers and clients, the company is generally not liable. Sexual harassment law normally applies to employees. While the details of the law are complicated, if they fire the harasser that pretty much destroys liability.
If you don't like the way that they acted, you are free not to do business with them.
