Your question is too broad to provide a specific answer, as the amount of penalities and interest depend on the amount of money owed and the number of years a taxpayer is in default. The bottomline is that if you failed to file any taxes, you need to rectify that deficiency. The state may be more lenient if you admit the failure to file (as opposed to if they find out first).
