Legal Question in Traffic Law in Alabama
Speeding Ticket but the owner of the car is wrong
I received a speeding citation (70 in a 55) on a country road in rural Alabama. The ticket states that the owner of the car is the driver (me) but in actuality my name appears nowhere on the title. Could this get it thrown out or is it a worthless cause?

Re: Speeding Ticket but the owner of the car is wrong
Well, on those grounds it is a worthless cause. But that doesn't mean there aren't ways around a ticket. Most municipalities and courts are only interested in money. (aren't we all?) Thus there are a variety of ways to get out of a speeding ticket - some more expensive than others.
