Legal Question in Traffic Law in Alabama
Stoped by city police not in the city limits
I wa issued a citation from a city police while being in a differant city linits. Is this a legal citation since I was not in the offercers city limits that isued the ticket?

yes, a municipal police officer has jurisdiction with the entire county where his municipality is located. in addition anyone may file a complaint for an offense, including a traffic offince, as a citizen. ("citizens arrest")
