Legal Question in Traffic Law in Alabama
traffic accident
I was hit by a man while traveling on interstate. I contacted his ins company, but they said he does not admit he hit me. he told them he felt a bump, but was not trying to change lane. I was in midde lane he was in far left lane. On statement to police officer he admitted hitting me. there was a witness but she left before i could get her name. The damage was estimated at $505. is there a way to make them pay. I have not reported to my insurance company because i do not want my premium to go up. Please advise!

the only way to make someone pay for damages caused by an auto accident when they do not agree is to sue them in the proper court. small claims court in alabama would be able to handle your case as you have described it to me.
