Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

my dads will

my daddy pasted away about 2 months ago he named me and my sister excuters of his estate..the lawyer my aunt hired to do his will says i can be the excuter becasue im not an alabama resident and that my sister cant be the excuter because she doesnt have the credit to be one is this true in any wa??? and is it leagl to file his income taxes even though he deceased??

You don't have to be an Alabama resident to serve as Executor. You don't necessarily have to have good credit to serve either. Get yourself Jim Zeigler down in Mobile.
