Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

MY HUSBAND DIED. DIDNOT LEAVE A WILL. HE INHERITED FROM HIS PARENTS, WITH HIS SISTER BEING EXECUTRIX. IS THIS INHERITANCE LOST TO ME IF THE SISTER DONOT WISH TO GIVE ME HIS PROCEEDS to me if the property is sold? thanks

Generally, if your husband survived the death of his parents, absent some other provision of their Will(s), his share should be preserved, but many other factors can come into play, and you should not rely in this alone. These issues do not get better with age, and if you have any doubts, you should take action to preserve your interest in these matters. If enough is at stake, you should consult an attorney.
