my mom passed.Dad survives.Thedre is broken relations with him.He has changed allassets during moms illness to him.I am only child.What do I do? She died intestate.He is also il;leterate I live in TN and all assets are in alabama

Is he your dad? If so, when she died in Alabama all of her property would pass to him, if an estate were opened. If he is your step-dad, you would get half and he would get half.
