Time frame for reading / probating Last Will
Father passed May '07 Executor has not processed the Will. Supposedly I am named in the will and have not been notified of to attend any reading.

Hollywood has given people the impression that it is customary for the family to congregate at a lawyer's office for a reading of the will. I don't know of a single instance of that occurring in real life, so do sweat it if it hasn't happened. You can force the executor to open the case by hiring a lawyer and filing the right petition with the court. If the will has been probated already, you can go to the court and request to see the file. More information is needed though to give you any definite answers.
