my grandfather has left me everything in his will. i know my father will contest it . can my grandfather turn everything over to me now and there want be any thing to contest?

Yes. If you can convince your grandfather to give you his possessions during his life, your father would have no basis upon which to contest it (other than coercion, undue influence, lack of capacity, fraud etc). The tax issues might need to be considered though. Lifetime transfers will cost you more than transfers at death. And convincing your grandfather to part with his things might be hard to do.
