Legal Question in Workers Comp in Alabama
On June 4, 2009 my primary care phyisian entered into my medical file that in his medical opinion that i am completely and permanently disable.I had lumbar surgery in 1991 due to a work related injury and the pain has worsened causing me to be unable to preform my daily duties at work. My last day at work was June 26th,2009, the company has placed me on salary continuation for 6mos. After that my I will be terminated. I have recently applied for social security dissability and am waiting on a decision. I am in the process of applying for long term dissability with the company and dont know how that may turn out? SHOULD I also file a claim with Workmans Comp?
