Re: Permanent Partial disability

If you return to work making the same you were making, you are not entitled to any vocational disability, only permanent impairment. Therefore, if the doctor gives you a permanent impairment of 10% to the body as a whole, you are entitled to 2/3 of your average weekly wage multiplied by 10%. If that figure is greater than $220, $220 is the maximum. If it's less than $220, you take the figure times 300 weeks, i.e.: $20 (after the 10%) would entitle you to $6,000.00 PPD.
