Legal Question in Disability Law in Alaska
I know someone who works at a daycare. They asked her to drive the van in the morning and afternoon to drop off and pick up the children who go to public school. They denied her request for a pay raise. She requested in advance a day off to take her child to a dentist appointment and is using a day of vacation time to do it. The daycare center cannot find anyone to drive the van. Now they are saying they will give her a raise if she drives the van that day. Is that legal?

Yes. They can give her a raise for agreeing to not take her vacation time on that day. What is it that makes you think there might be a legal problem with this
