If I file bankrupcy will it take care of a judjment aginst me?

It depends on several factors.
If the judgment is for a dischargeable debt, it will discharge that debt. There are certain types of debts which are nondischargeable. Without knowing what the judgment is for, it is impossible to say whether it is in one of those types.
If the judgment has been recorded, and if you own real property in the recording district where the judgment was recorded, the judgment will have, in effect, become a secured debt. So your personal liablility may be extinguished by bankruptcy, but the creditor would still have a lien against the property.
