Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Alaska
Can a law firm obtain a criminal complaint for a person, that they don't represent, in order to use it against them in a custody case between the said law firms client's and the persons child, who's informations been taken. As in; pose as persons lawyer to get police report to use against them.

Criminal complaints filed in court are matters of public record. Anyone can get copies of them.
On the ohter hand, falsely claiming to be someone's attorney for the purpose of obtaining information may be a violation of the rules of professional responsibility, and a law firm may very well get in trouble for that.
