Legal Question in Family Law in Alaska

I live in Alaska. I am a single adult and 8 weeks pregnant. The father is not wanting to be involved and I also do not want him in the child's life. Children deserve a stable two-parent home so I am strongly considering adoption as an option. Can he voluntarily terminate his parental rights to an unborn child? And how? I believe he would if he could. I would like to do this soon as he has stated he will be leaving state soon and it may be impossible to find him.

Your advice is appreciated.
