Legal Question in Family Law in Alaska

I looked my boyfriend up online in the court cases for my state. It says that in November there was a Default Divorce Hearing with him and another girl. Does this mean he was married? I know they have a kid together, but I didn't think they were ever legally married. Can you have a divorce hearing without having been married?

No, it's very unlikely that he is not married. One does not ask for a divorce without being married.
