Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Alaska
I purchased a vehicle before leaving for the holidays. The title was still in the previous oweners name. When I returned to transfer the title. I find out the police have seized the vehicle awaiting a warrant to search it do to an on going investigation.. Now that the title is in my name may I not consent to there search and demand my truck

No, you cannot prohibit them from searching the truck. And it's not a matter of "consent" to a search. It's a search warrant. It has nothing to do with title. Assuming it's a valid warrant, they would be able to search it no matter who has the title.
When they have completed the search it should be returned to you.
