Legal Question in Immigration Law in Alaska
green card interview - case review
after my wife's green card interview which went so/so, as my wife and I have debts and a hard time supporting ourselves. The officer said she will review the case and let us know by mail in 1-2 months, maybe more. Does this indicate a negative outcome?

Re: green card interview - case review
There are two issues here - one is the approval of the I-130 immigrant visa establishing that the two of you have a valid marriage based upon mutual love and affection, the second is whether you have submitted an approvable affidavit of support and the I-485 application for permanent residence (the greencard) will be approved.
If you are concerned regarding approval you may wish to consult an attorney for review of what you have submitted so far. I can be reached by phone or email if you would like to follow up with this.
