Non resident alien letter of support

I need assistance in composing a letter for my brother-in-law, a citizen of the UK. He needs some type of support/acquaintance letter stating that his marriage to my sister is a 'real' marriage. How do I go about this?

Based on your e-mail, it sounds as if your sister has married a non-citizen and is filing a visa petition to classify him as her spouse with INS.

Always be truthful, of course. I suggest that you write the letter in your own words, describing your personal view of your brother-in-law, his character, and your view of their marriage. Including references to personal experiences and time you've spent with him and with them as a couple is also a good way to both organize your letter and explain your thoughts about their marriage.

Best wishes.

Tell it like it is, in your own handwriting. Answer the question, "How do you know this marriage is real?"
