Legal Question in Employment Law in Alaska
as of two months ago i worked for a family member at a restaurant i maneged their restaurant since 07 till 2011 now since i worked for them they never gave me any of my tips from waiting tables and when i asked for them the let me go i total them to be more than18000 dollars they had me under the impresion that they were taking care of my taxxes and they never wanted to pay me my overtime i worked 7 days a week for the most time. what can i do? i have no money for a lawyer and i wrote them a letter via email and they ignored it .
