Legal Question in Employment Law in Alaska

Perm contract withdrawn due to admission of felony

I was contracted through a tech agency, Mentor4, to work for Cablevision's Optimum Online tech support. Worked there for 7 months as a temp. Was offered a permanent contract. Had to fill out an applcation for the perm conversion. The application asked if I had a felony conviction. I asked my agency what to do. I had gone through a background check through the agency and nothing came up. I was also honest with the agency and told them about my felony before hand. They said as long as my background check was clean, I was ok and it was. 8 year background check. I was convicted of felony fraud in federal court 8 years prior. Was advised to put down the felony. 6 weeks later I was told by a cablevision director that they were going to withdraw their offer of a perm contract due to the felony. Can I sue either cablevision and/or the agency I was contracted by?

There are no grounds I can see for a successful lawsuit.
