Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Alaska

Harasssment

I was sent several emails from two supervisors implying a sexual relationship between l derogatory me and a former co-worker that never took place. Nearly my entire experience at that place of work was demeaning. At a company party my supervisor made fun of me being short in front of about 500 people. A short time later I was told I was needed in another location and transferred there. Within a couple of weeks, the same supervisor said ''you don't have the fire'' and that I couldn't transfer to another location in the same job. I believe he wanted me to quit. Instead I applied for a lesser job at a 3rd location that is not under his control, and am working there now. I believe my performance in my job duties to have been satisfactory. The supervisor is male as am I. I want to take some sort of action, but I don't know if there is any chance of success. I have a wife and three children to support and don't want to endanger my job, or career.

Re: Harasssment

Smart move, but nothing is stopping you from consulting local counsel to see what your options are.

Sometimes you can be right, but end up wrong, because as you say, you have a family to support.
