Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alaska
My father left me an estate when he passed. The Executor was a friend of his. I have not received any documentation from her nor a tax form called a K-1. She has not adhered to the stipulations laid out in the Will. I do not know what type of lawyer I need to contact. Please help.

Is the executor running a parthership or S-corporation of wich your father was a part? Because that's what tax form k-1 would be for.
In any event, if the executor is not doing what the will requires her to do, she can be replaced. Any attorney licensed to practice in Alaska would be able to handle it, however some attorneys might not care to take estate and probate cases.
