Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alaska

Trusts

My grandson has a trust from an accident when he was 3 years old, it is supposed to be released to him on his 18th birthday, he turned 18 in July 2000. We can not get our calls returned from the attorney who is supposed to be handling the case. Is there a way we don't have to use the attorney? Also, what type of documents do we need? And isn't the attorney obligated to give us the papers, he has been the legal representitive from the beginning

Re: Trusts

A lot depends on how the trust is worded but I would just send a letter to the attorney telling him he is fired and demand that he return all documents. It should be a simple matter to just have another attorney take the steps needed to release the money.
