Legal Question in Family Law in American Samoa

Trouble?

I just received what I believe is a Letter Rogatory from a court in Osterreich/Austrian court. It was delivered, WITHOUT an envelope, by Process Forwarding International of Seattle Washington. It alleges paternity.

Is this a binding document? Is it in the USA Court System? Should I expect the local sherif to show up at my door? Will Federal a background investigation (for security purposes, i.e my JOB) produce a hit? How much trouble am I in? Thanks

MH

Re: Trouble?

Probably not much, but you might want to confer with an attorney regarding your possible exposure to legal liability here in the United States as a result of this action initiated from Austria.
