Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in American Samoa

Father passed away and left no will..
My father married 3 times, my mom is the 3rd. He left no will when he passed away. Going through some of his papers, I found out he was a shareholder for some companies and also owns some land, all this in Western Samoa. He is an US citizen and passed away in Am. Samoa. My mom is still living. Which wife can claim all this? Because, his ex wife's kids are saying that my mom can't and only the 2nd wife can.
