How long after accident can you sue on an insurance company ?
Our accident October 7, 2002was caused by a drunk driver. His insurance has refused to even reply to requests for a settlement. Is it to late to sue?

In Arizona, the statute of limitations (deadline) to file a lawsuit is generally two years from the date of the automobile accident.
However, if the claim is against a governmental entity (or a governmental employee while acting in the ordinary course and scope of their employment), then a formal notice of claim must be served within six months, and a formal lawsuit must be filed within one year.
