A company in Arizona can pursue you from 6-7 years depending on what type of debt you owe. For example, if you signed a written contract, a creditor can pursue you up to 6 years and if they find you within the sixth year, they are given an extra year to bring suit. If you are unsure of whether the company collecting has a right to collect against you, you should speak with a debt defense attorney, like a bankruptcy attorney to find out your rights.
