Legal Question in Administrative Law in Arizona
Discharge under honurable conditions
My daughter is about to be discharged from the AF. She was late for work (6) and missed some appointments (2) for which she received LOR and an article 15. It has been very difficult for me as a parent to see what has happend to her over the last 6 months and accept that the AF will just wash there hands of her. She is currently in Hospital under psychiatric evaluation. Yes she said that she would hurt herself if left alone. There is a long story behind this and however my biggest gripe is that when she joined, the administration department messed up, 4 months later, the took all her salary $1000 (2 x 500) to make up for there blunder, with no support, Yes she could take a loan and pay intreast. She had bills to pay, which we covered. Further more she has rasied concern about the lack of leadership she has in her flight, they acknowledage it, but do nothing about it. In fact having spoken to many people here, some civilians in the readiness centre, NCO's and work mates they all agree, but no one will speak up. There are many more things they have done and not enough characters left. She did wrong and accepts that. But why should she, and us as a family bear the burden when the AF contributed, should they be allowed to go free

Re: Discharge under honurable conditions
I am sorry. This is not a question I feel I am able to answer. I am a criminal defense atty. Your question is outside my field. I would look for a military law atty. Yes they are out there. Good luck to you and your daughter
