How do you divorce a child?

Your question is really about family law, not appeals and writs. You may want to re-post it under the right category.
Having said that, I'm not sure what you're asking. A married couple can divorce one another, but a parent can't divorce his or her children. So unless you're married to a child (perhaps you recently immigrated from a country where such marriages are allowed), the question doesn't make sense.
