Legal Question in Banking Law in Arizona
life insurance check
I deposited an insurance check into my checking account on Monday, August 7th 2006. The bank will not release the funds until Friday, August 11th. It's from the same bank with whom I do business. This morning it showed that this money was available online. After I talked to them, they changed it to hold. Is it legal for them to withhold my funds?
