Promissary note
I have a promissary note that my father had with a serial number of 8874 drawn from The Bank of the United States. How would I go about finding out information regarding this certificate or note.

I would need to see a Scan or (very clear) FAX of it to advise. Most likely a Federal Reserve issue.
