Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arizona
10 day rule for mailing list
After filing for a Chapter 13 there is a 10 day period for submitting a mailing list of creditors. Is this 10 working days or 10 days from file date?

Re: 10 day rule for mailing list
Normally, one counts all days, not just working days, in measuring a period. However, if the last day of the period occurs on a weekend or holiday, one has an extension until the next day the court is open. Many courts also have "holidays" during the summer, with an extension till the fall. To be on the safe side, check with your local court. To be even further on the safe side, measure the shortest possible time, and comply with it.
Good luck!
