Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arizona
My dad and step-mom receive SS and retirement income from PERA (Public Employees Retirement Association). They have some medical bills and credit card debt. Can the credit card companies garnish the PERA or take money from their bank account?

The credit card companies can garnish the PERA once your parents receive the money and they can do a bank levy on any bank account in your parents' names.
