Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arizona

divorce and bankruptcy in AZ

I was married for 5.5 years in AZ. During the entire marriage we maintained separate finances; I was afraid of his debt and spending, and he didn't want me telling him how to spend his money. Our divorce was final 26 Jan. '09. He tells me he will probably have to file bankruptcy. My name was never on any of his accounts, not the house deed, not the 1st or 2nd mortgage, none of the loans, not the small business he started, not his savings or checking, - nothing. Yet, he tells me that his creditors may come after me simply because we were married during the time most of the debt was created. I'm scared to death that my good credit standing will be ruined because of his lack of fiscal responsibility. I'm on disability and survive on that and a small pension. Can his creditors legally come after me? I have since moved out of state.
