Questioning losing home
Can I file bankruptcy on just my credit cards and a few small bills, and not lose my trailer?

Re: Questioning losing home
Probably. In a bankruptcy, you must report all your debts, including any debt on your trailer. However, there is probably a homestead exemption which can protect your trailer. If there is debt still due on the trailer, you can come to an agreement to continue paying the creditor.
You should consult with a lawyer who can advise you according to all the facts in your specific case. If you cannot afford a lawyer, ask Legal Aid for help. Most bar associations also have a panel of lawyers willing to help for a reduced fee.
Good luck!
