Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Arizona Severance Question
An employer classified an employee as a part time employee and then proceeded to work her on a full time schedule. The company is closing its operation and giving severance packages to its full time associates. The employer is only granting this employee 26 percent of the package of the classified full time employees. She has been with the organization since its existance and within the bounds of the organization for 11 years.
Should the company have to pay a full severance to this single mom ?

Re: Arizona Severance Question
I would think she is entitled to full time employee treatment.
This is a labor law question, not a business law question on this site. She might want to submit her question in that category.
