Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
If someone was to attempt to start a videogame business, but was unable to pay programmers, artists, etc. to assist him initially, would it be legal to create a contract stating that they would work on this game for free, and if successful, the profit would be divided in an agreed-upon percentage?

Yes, it is legal, but must be done carefully and be sure to reserve all rights of ownership to everything that they do, to yourself.

Yes it would be legally but I doubt the third parties would take it on with the understanding they work for free initially and get paid only if the project is successful. Give my firm a call for further discussion.
