Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Auction Proceeds
I consigned two art items for auction. Mt abreement states that proceeds will be paid 30 business days after the sale. My items sold on November 4, 2007. I have an email from the auction house informing me of the sale price. Today (Dec. 28) I received a letter saying they cannot pay me now and will let me know after their January auctions when I might be compensated. Do I have any recourse?
