Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Auto renewal contracts
We currently sale contracts via phone getting customers credit cards and then mailing them their copies. We are thinking about changing our contract to auto renew. Can we do that w/out getting initials or signatures? Is a verbal agreement acceptable or legal?

Re: Auto renewal contracts
Only if you are careful to get the customer's signature acknowledging that the contract will be automatically renewed. You would have to get their verification of agreement to your terms, by some method other than charging their credit card account.
