Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
comp time
Can an employer change a job description to now require an employee to work nights/weekends on-call without being compensated? What compensation is required? Does the employer have to pay the hourly wage? Can the employer give comp time? Where can I find these answers?

Re: comp time
1. You can find better answers by re-submitting your question under the labor/employment law section, rather than under the business law section of this forum.
2. You can speak with a labor/employment law attorney.
3. You can speak with the labor department representative under the federal government listings. There are rules that govern overtime, hours etc.
4. An employer "can" always offer some additional benefit if they are willing to do so.
5. You can seek a more deserving employer for your services.
Good luck.
