Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
D.B.A.
I am new trying to start an S-Corporation but I am not certain how to complete the Article of Incorporation with a DBA. The form asks for the Name of the Corporation but our plan is to incorporate two business into one i.e. XYC Corp dba XXX Corp and YYY Corp. What, then, do I use for the Name of the Corporation? Instead, do you suggest that I seek (local) legal counsel to assist me with incorporating my business?

Form the corporation first, then register the tradenames separately, with the corporation as the owner of the tradenames. I'm not sure, but I think tradenames are registered at the Secretary of State's office.
