Re: What is the difference between a PLLC, PLC, PA
A PLC and a PLLC are the same, they are both professional limited liability companies. A PA is a professional corporation (actually, it is a professional association, but for all practical purposes it is a professional corporation). An LP is a limited partnership. For whatever its worth, limited partnerships are not used frequently these days, as limited liability companies have become the vehicle of choice for those who desire partnership tax treatment. A professional limited liability company simply is a limited liability company that is engaged in one of the professions.
